So here are two clips that really encourage and excited me about the path to Minerva.

Letter from a Minerva Student

Dear potential Minerva students:

I can imagine how you’re feeling. Maybe excitement, maybe nervous, but most likely curiosity. As what is really like to be Minerva student.

My name is Liberty. And I’m a second year student from London. When I got into Minerva, I was seeking a gap year from academics. I soon realized in a year of traveling around Europe and Asia, I learned more than I ever learned in school. Whether it’s from local showing me real problems they faced or trying to code on rainy days. The world feel bigger and more accessible to me than it ever done before. So I pack up my stuff and gave up path to traditional university and head it to San Francisco, not knowing what to expect.

And I have never look back.

But before I go on, I wanna to say that Minerva isn’t for everyone. And I encourage you to think seriously whether it’s right for you. There’re sacarfisis. You have to be prepared to engaged actively with the city. It’s definate no campus bubble. You have to be prepared to see your family maybe through FaceTime. You have to prepared to take a demanding academic schedule. And you have prepared to move to a new city every semester. But if you’re up for the challenge you’re in for adventure. You’ll embraced to a community like no other. You’ll join clubs, initiate your own project. You’ll make local friend and try local food. You’ll learn from your mistakes, your plans. You’ll plan your next exam, your next trip, your next city. You’ll find people who share your passions.

You’ll try things you never thought you’ll do before. You’ll get los, but along the way you’ll find the most incredible look out spot.

If you’re choosing Minerva, you are choosing the road less traveled. But if you crave for a education full of possibilities and adventure, you’re truly choosing the road for you
